here are some photos from the sidewinder trail in lake morena, ca, down in san diego. i know the san diego members; rob, lance, marc p, and all the others have been wondering about this place. here it is. lots of rock, lots of tough spots. LOTS of d@mn scratches.

Looks like fun--I am dying to go wheeling, but with the new baby time is a problem. I want to do Carveacre again soon. It only takes a couple hours to do, and gives you and your truck a very good workout.

 

I've been itching for a trip too!

pismo was sooooo much fun. we are going again in september, looks like we may be going on the weekend of the 13th. you should do everything you can to make it! lot different that playing on rocks, i thought it was a lot more fun.

Pismo is a blast--I was there a couple months ago, but with the wife being 7 mos pregnant, I had to take it easy. I did follow the fence around the sand hwy though.

If you guys want to plan a Sunday or Friday run to Morena or Carveacre let me know and I will try to make it.

I just need to install my manual hubs first.

 

c'mon you guys carveacre again sounds like a blast. especially if it rains like it did yesterday.

what do you guys think about next sunday we can do an afternooner or morning or whatever and hopefully i will have my locker installed by then.

 

I have to work next sun for some reason, I'm usually off, so it sucks.
Although I will be getting off early, I would rather go in the morning.
