acorn in my vent?

acorn in my vent?
I recently picked up my 3rd gen 2000 4runner and ever since I got it, it had a slight vibration when I turned on my AC/heater fan. It would vibrate enough where I could feel it through the pedals.
I took my blower apart and there's a frickin' acorn in there..
I'm wondering how does something so big get in there? Aren't the intake vents by the windshield small enough to filter something like this out?
Anyhow, my blower was caked in dust so I scrubbed it and lysol'd it to freshen it up. Now I've got no vibration in the pedals nor a weird hum. Easiest maintenance I've done yet. Now onto the timing belt which needs to be taken care of.
