Wheel spacers on a 3rd gen 4runner, part two

I asked this a while back and never got a reply...

Would putting 1" spacers cause the front wheel bearings to wear out quicker? if so, how much quicker? Any input? Thanks

Anything you do to widen the stance will theoretically cause more load on the bearings, thus wearing faster. Wheel spacers, space aliens, wider tires, midget tossing, less backspaced rims, etc.

allright, allright.... how much faster? reduce the life of the bearings by half? a third? trying to figure out if its worth it. if it only takes 5k off then no big deal but if it takes 20k off then i'm not doing it!
