Yep, got hit by catalytic converter stealers.
97 4runner with the 2.7 4 cylinder.
I can get an aftermarket cat (universal weld in), but I need to know how far from the original catalytic block to the centerline of the o2 sensor is on the original. I have to weld in the o2 bung.
Anyone with a 2.7 liter 4 cylinder engine? Could you? Would you? Please give me a measurement from where the catalytic converter expands to full width (where internally the catalytic block starts) to the centerline of the o2 sensor. A tape measure of the distance to the nearest 1/4 inch is what is needed.
A 6 cylinder reading wont help, I checked already. I also tried the area used car lots, seems the 4 bangers are either rare, or are snatched up for better gas milage.
