Little Black Box

Okay trying this differently. 1988 toyota 4x4 pickup 5speed 3.0. There is a little black box about 3' x 4" x 1" with multiple wires going to it. It's inside the left kick panel beside the fuses. All wires are connected except 1 orange with a inline 1amp fuse just hanging. Any ideas I can't find this in any fsm's. I'm having some elctricle issues and just trying to track everything down. Please any suggestions. Thanks

Thanks that makes since. I not worried about the cc I just rebuilt this truck and it was not running when I bought it. The hg had blown and it sat for 6yrs before I bought it the wiring harness was in pieces so I got a new one but don't seem to be getting power to the fuel pump just thouht that might be the problem. Thanks

I've been having this same problem. I might have to try that. Also read somewhere it's a sticking thermostat, but I am not sure where that might be. Any ideas?

EDIT: Sorry, I totally hijacked the thread. Feel free to not respond to me.

If you have a 22re, it may be the main relay....

Hey team420 thats it. thanks I don't think I have a problem with it I think my fuel pump is just bad. I hook the pump up this afternoon direct with an inline fuse and it blew the fuse every time. So I'm going back to the shop later and drop the tank. I thank ya'll for all the help this is my first yota and just ready to drive it.
