Just a thought, cuz I have a 4 day weekend labor day weekend and I dont' know what I'm doin yet.

 

We get Monday the 1st of Sept off. I don't have classes on Friday, so I am game for any day that weekend. Hopefully I will get off my @ss and get my winch and snorkel in by then.

 

Sunday would work best for me. That way I dont have to drive late at night friday after work.

 

But you're only allowed to come if you bring YOUR runner up

And have Forest bring his 1st gen too

 

I think we'd have to bring mine up. Forest is having a little trouble with his SAS. Not sure he'll be able to get it over here till october. Its in New York right now.

 

This sucks .. I won't be here labor day weekend. Heading up to Mi with my folks. :cry:

 

This sounds like a potentially good trip to me... I'll have to check with my fiance as there may be stuff for us to do that weekend. Maybe I can convince her to come along.

I'm just afraid of looking like a panzy in my stock truck... I'll be afraid to be as daring after what happened last time. That cost me more to repair than Shavad's mess.

 

Haha...no problem. If the girl is in the truck, I wont do much at all either. Just going for the "scenic tour". Gotta get her to like it so she will come more.

I hear ya though on the damage. But for some reason, when I go there tends to be much less damage to everyone else's trucks. Havent been on the last 2 trips and from what Ive seen...ya'll got banged up quite a bit. Body damage is cool, but in small doses.

 

I'm starting to think my truck isn't as good as I thought it was anymore. I went to go look for a spare today, cuz I didn't think my 15 inch wheel and 225 tires would help me. So I went a local tire/wheel place and the guy looked underneath my truck and he said nothing would fit, I looked underneath and he was right, there is no space underneath there whatsoever for anything bigger. And then I went to go look at roof racks, and the setup I want costs around 300-400 bucks.

This sucks, my truck came with stupid 15 inch wheels and 28 inch tires, I had to pay so much to put on new wheels and tires, so now it's not geared correctly, I don't have a roof rack, I can't have a spare that fits...

Blah!!! I'm just bitchin that's all.

One good thing though, my dad figured out my 4wd, I just have to shift into park and it will engage 4wd, it won't on the fly though. Oh well.

 

So I think I talked the Fiance into comming. She's worried you guys are all rednecks though I CANNOT make Saturday as we will be visiting her grandmother in IL. But we will head out early in the morning Sunday and hopefully get there by 8 or 9. ITS NOT DAYLIGHTS SAVINGS THOUGH IS IT?? Attica is on Central time right now?? I dont want to screw that up again...

 

you guys don't wanna do itthe weekend before ..or the weekend after?

 

I won't be able to because of my working schedule. And it's a 6 hr drive from here. labor day weekend is really one of my only days off.

 

ok I'm game for that sunday! I will try to bring my little lady along as well(not fiancee or anything, just a girly I'm dating)

I also am gonna try to get the winch, or snorkel in before this run, but with moving next week, my puppy, and school starting, the money situation is a little tight.

Rob are you gonna bring a real rig, or the Rav4?
