Post Anyone seen the Wild Yoats site?

I was checking out their site and I like it. Anyone seen it or belong to it?

They have a decent For Sale board for older trucks, a few good write ups, but the discusssions forums don't cut it.

where's johny to defend his site?

it is a nice site, i actually still want to join the club, now that he has more visitors from the midwest. there are a lot of very knowledgeable people on that site, especially with the older stuff. thats the main thing i like about it, is they cater to the older rigs, where as this site is more geared to the newer stuff.

I am a member over there, and I do read the main tech area, and also the Tips area.
I have a few posts in the tips section.

There is a lot of good hardcore stuff over there, and you don't have to wade through flamatory posts and bickering like you do on POR.

I use to read POR a year or so ago, but I got tired of the trash talking.
If I want trash, I'll turn on Jerry Springer.

Same here, realized I didn't trust POR enough to even consider buying from their sales. One thing I dig about Wild yoats is they have some of the POR technical experience on a greasemonkey level, I don't have the resources, courage or time to even attempt those kinda major operations, but being able to refer to good write ups on big projects and not have to swim through the FU's is extremely valuable. There is no subsitute for first hand experience.
Same resaon I like Yotatech, but less older vehicles here, more variety and different perspectives can solve problems too. I find Yotatech is the best for coming up with and thinking through the kind of mods I want, non-luxury utility OEM add ons.

Anyway, competition is healthy...
