Smallest lift to fit 255/85r16 on '00 4x2 4Runner???
This set up would be on stock wheels? Also, is there anything wrong with spacer lifts? I know a lot of jeeps guys running 'em and was just curious. I think I saw a 2" spacer lift for like $120.00.....is that pretty good? Does anything else need to be adjusted ie steering wheel, driveshaft etc.? Thanks a lot guys..

I believe you will need a full 3" lift on front and rear since you are a 2000model vehicle to begin with.
I am no expert. I encourage you to read this:

to get a full understanding of lifting. Steve of Sonoran has also posted up spring comparisons a few pages back here on Yota Tech.

That's a good read.....I never would've expected there to be that much difference from year to year. I saw that one fella was running these tires with stock suspension in the front......I figured a 2" spacer kit would do the trick. I don't want to pull the trigger though unless I know it will work. I should also mention that my 4Runner has the running boards and trim like a Limited. Does this pose more of a problem for me? A nice 265 is starting to sound better to me
