G58 shifter seat part #

I need the part number for the G58 shifter seat. I'm not paying $20 for shipping from Marlin- the factory one will work just fine for me.

There are two seats available form Marlin- one for the W-series transmission, and one for ALL other transmission. This would suggest to me that the seat is universal between all G and R-series transmissions. The part is visible on the R-150 parts screen at the dealer, but not on the G-58 screen. This confuses me, but I may just choose to experiment.

Jay, stop interrupting conversations between me, myself and Matt16. I'm not real picky about the shifter honestly- factory is good enough. If I were buying a clutch from Marlin, I would get their shifter as well, but I'm not and their $20 shipping is too much. Thing is, with the locker, the shifter seems notchier oddly. I think its possibly the added backlash inherent to the locker design.

I'll pick up the part tomorrow during my lunch break, and install it in the evening. I'll let you know.

Alright, I bought the Toyota shifter seat for the R150 (5spd pairs with the V6) today and compared it to seat on the G58 (5spd found behind the 22RE). THey are identical.

Apparently, the seat is not or is barely visible on the G58 shifter part diagram, but is plainly visible on the R150 diagram. It is part 33505-35020.

Despite my elation at finding they are the same, I found my shifter seat to be in perfect condition save for the rubber washer had detached from the seat (they are glued together from the factory). I do not think this is critical, thus I reinstalled my old seat and I will return the new part to Toyota.
