So I have been looking for a 3rd gen now for awhile. Wanted this nice 2002 I found for $6995 the other day but it was sold fast with high miles. I found this 2002 4Runner Supercharged today for $11,495 with 100k Miles. Seems like a decent price from a reputable dealer. Here is the link. Looking for quick advice. Want to get something this weekend most likely. Looks like it was modded a bit with the exhaust and decals and pedals ans stereo. THats what I personally dont like. What are your guy's opinions? THings to look for?

I would look for a non supercharged model an then supercharge it. The superchargers have been selling for around 1000 on ebay. That way there is alot less likely chance the car had been driven hard.

 

i Went there to buy it today. Thought I was looking at the wrong one because the decals were gone. Looked inside, no boost gauge? Opened the hood. No supercharger! So, they took it all off the vehicle. Why/ I have no idea. It was 100% the same one, so I am confused. Also, the tires were bald, and I just didnt get a good feeling. Also, didn like the tasteless mods. Anyhow, it was still priced the same. What do you think happened? Maybe they couldn't sell it since it was supercharged? Someone bought another one and wanted that supercharger? Who knows.
