Well, after not being around on here for a while, I've moved yet again and currently in Lake Havasu. I'm having an issue with the right front boot being cracked and blowing grease everywhere. I got a new axle from Napa for $95 and going to replace as soon as my shoes don't stick to the asphalt outside from the heat. I've been noticing a pretty significant steering wheel shake at around 50MPH on the same side. I'm not sure if this is associated with the CV or not. The boot hasn't lost that much grease from what I can tell. I'm just wondering if there's anyhting else I should be checking while I'm ripping this thing apart? I have the TRD/OME lift, with the diff drop. I have replaced the bushings in the steering rack and swaybar. Wheel feels ok bearing wise, but haven't jacked it up yet to check it off the ground. Just rotated and balanced, "I did lose a weight". You guy's have any thoughts? Could it be as easy as the CV boot being trashed? Let me know. Peace!
