New 3.4 Swap stuff available from Offroad Solutions!!

WOW! I just went to Offroad Solutions sight to link someone to their ECU wiring harnesses an they have updated the Yota section. They are now producing a 3.4 conversion kit that comes with a whole slew of parts that would make this swap even EASIER! I've gotta intesify my search for a donor vehicle as soon as I get stateside! Click this link and 3.slow owners start drooling and dreaming! I just cant fathom what it would be like driving my 2nd Gen with a supercharged 3.4 in it. It would be soooo fun blowing people away and looking at the look of disbelief on their faces! I'm going to say that with the Engine, conversion kit, and some performance mods like a S/C, headers, ect a guy could probably do this swap for like $3500-$4000.. ouch.. But it would be soooooo worth it!

$2000! Thats cheap for the whole kit. If only I had a older pick up or 2nd gen so I can actually save up for the kit and try it out:cry:

Vato I don't think that price includes the engine. I could be wrong though after reading it again.. I'm going to send them an email

I finished reading the article and found this at the bottom

This kit is designed to give the customer all the parts that will be needed to make a clean conversion with the exception of the following parts. Off Road Solutions can provide any or all of these parts to complete your conversion.

5VZ-FE longblock- new, remanufactured, or used
Both exhaust manifolds (unless using a header system)
Intake manifold
Intake plenum
All items on motor related to fuel injection such as injectors, fuel rail, vsv's, sensors, throttle body, etc.
Alternator from 3.4L donor vehicle
Power steering pump from donor vehicle
A/C compressor from donor vehicle (if using A/C system)
Spark plugs (6)
Spark plug wire set
Cylinder coil packs (3)
Engine (injector) wiring harness
Main body (dashboard) wiring harness
ECU
Ignitor assembly
Evaporative canister (optional)
Intake system, factory or high performance. If upgrading ORS can provide any upgraded system on the market.

So I wonder what you do get for $2000???

I was just at their shop yesterday and I was mad at myself because I forgot my camera. Mike, the owner, had his monster 4-Runner sitting out there. He had a fuel pump problem so we had to push it out of the way to make room for my truck. They are a good bunch of guys. Leif, who mans the phones is also cool. Maybe 4-years down the road, I will have them do my SAS. I plan on taking my rig down there for them to do my future services as Mike was a tech at a dealership and does all maintenance as well as custom fab. There was a cool second gen there which had a SAS done as well. Next time, pics for sure. I am going to let them do my 30k service in a few months.

About time.

They mentioned it was coming soon when I was in, glad to see it official.

Perhaps this would be relevant to those on the swap kit a couple of threads up.

TS1 That's cool you got to visit them. I did some reading on MIke's Runner and that thing is pretty awesome. I sent them an email trying to figure out what exactly you get with that conversion kit. Do you have any ideas. I know with that the swap is looking easier and easier. I hope to have mine done within a year or so of getting my truck to the states. My dad just happens to have a tight connection with guy who buys totalled rigs from auctions and stuff so hoping to score a cheap donor rig.
