Heater core replacement
#2
No, the a/c doesn`t need to be removed. what you need to do is remove the complete dash to get to the heater box, then remove the complete heater box to get to the heater core, its not hard to do, but its very time consuming, it took me about six hours when i did the first one and the second one took me four hours. ive done heater cores in two trucks, an 84 and 86 4Runners.

(that's what they told me, anyway) but, you can find some that fit at most any automotive parts store.........why don't they just include them with the new core? ---------Hans
