using late 80s 22re manifold on 84 22re.. what do i do with what i presume is the egr?? this old manifold doesnt have one and my trail rig has exhaust leak... i was going to get a craigslist header but it doesnt have egr either...

any help or knowledge on if i can block the egr off or cap the line...or take it right off???

the best I can offer is to use the late manifold.

 

whats the problem?? it looks like that manifold is the same one thats on your truck! those egr tubes are a separate piece, they bolt on the manifold itself.

 

ahh they bolt through the manifold thanks i didnt wanna take it off... if i can take it off without breaking it ill just replace the one bad stud.. but this spare is in good shape so i might use it thanks!

 

ok im thrusting and pb blasting all the bolts.. figure ill change the rad out for a better one i got kicking around too...

do you guys advice on toyota oem gasket for exhaust or putty or a canadian tire gasket?
