Hope somebody out there can help . I like the look of the original FJ40 rim/hubcap wheel set-up and was wondering if anyone knew if they would fit my 92' 4WD Pickup??? I don't have a set to test fit to see if they have enough backspace/clearance for steering/brakes/suspension components?? I also did not know if later model FJ40 wheels would be better since they came with disc brakes on the front?? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated...

I think they would work. I bought some wheels (96 4Runner) for my 71 FJ40, right bolt pattern, but wrong back spacing (they went inboard about 3/4" too far).

So if you understand, fj40 wheels should bolt up to yours, but will stick out about 3/4" farther.
