88 4Runner - Heater Core Change?
The 88 FSM and 85 FSM don't seem to have the process to change a leaking heater core (under the dash, not the console)... any recommendations?

If you have AC you will need to have it discharged/charged in accordance with Federal law. Its a hefty fine if you discharge it into the air and someone reports you.

... and if I had a leaky evaporator, then the refrigerant recovery problem would have taken care of itself :-P
Thanks for the replies.... I was hoping someone might have a pdf of the process from a manual or something...

I realize we are talking about the heater core. Dude. But in order to remove the heater core, you have to remove the Evap box. Dude. And that means you have to drain the AC. Dude. Which is why I said IF you have AC.
Dont ask for advice then question the very answers the guys who know about it give you.
