I have a 99 tacoma. Starter is about 1 1/2 yrs old. about 40,000 miles on it. every time i go to start it makes a clicking noise. i cleaned the contacts on the battery and it is still clicking. Dont really want to buy new starter if i dont have to. can i just replace the starter contacts or solenoid??

 

Probably the contacts, but, it is fishy cause its so new. Is it a nippon denso?

Contacts are easy to replace, just gotta pull it out...
