Alright. I just bought this thing. If i turn the key so the radio turns on not the truck. The radio will stay on. If i turn it past like 20volume. The whole thing shorts out and restarts. Wtf??

Got any ideaS?

 

I'd check the radio, first. Sounds like it's underpowered. First place I'd look at is the power and ground.

but i dont wanna pull the dash and everything and bring out the radio lol

The guy had a amp setup and . The front speakers werent plugged in and no speakers in the back lol

i put 2 6's in he front and 2 9's in the back. I'm thinkin about getting a Amp.

But idk yet. I hate ing Bass So idk. Country music with bass dont mix.

I have a alarm system but not plugged into the radio too. might short it out because i dont haev the remote for the alarm so never plugged it in et.

 

Don't know about the stock HU, but if it's an aftermarket single DIN then you don't need to pull the dash. Just the surrounding facia. Can get my radio out in about two minutes.
