Smile Tacoma front end conversion, Help pick

hey everyone, I want to start with my Summer face lift on my taco.

opinions?

Advice?

I was thinking of going with carbon fiber hood and the 01 front clip does anyone know If I can use my fenders I know they are different for mounting but seems like you could just figure something out for the corner light mount so you don't have to get new fenders and paint them.

I'm also thinking hard on going with 98-00, becasue of cost and I like the clear after market headlight

also does anyone know If I can put 01 taillights on my 97 taco. they seem to have very similar screw alightment if not the same, I'm just to chicken to order them.

every thread should have a motivational pic

THANKS

you need to change the radiator support to change from 95-97 to 98+ front end... juste did one last summer, 98-00 and 01+ have different rad support too for headlight mounting

if you go for 01+ front end, you definitely need new fender, or the hood won't line up

01 tailight will fit bolt on

01+ tails are not a bolt on. The plugs are the same, holes are the same but you need to look at the 01+ and the 95.5+ and look closely at the wires and where they're pinned. I think two wires need to change pin location, super easy to do. If you don't change this they won't work properly. I did it on my 98 Tacoma, loved the 01+ tails.

As for the front end, I always liked the 95.5-97 and the 01+ style. Probably b/c I had the 98-00!
