installin a lift
is $375 a good price to put 3inch add a leafs, 1 1/2 bj spacers, shocks, and t bar crank on my truck? thats the cheapest ive found around here and id rather pay then me do it myself cuz i have no idea how to put any of that on

You should consider putting it on yourself. It would give you valuable knowledge about your truck, and there are plenty of knowledgable people here on the forum that could help walk you through it. Do you have any tools?

I ended up putting a 4" lift and Cruiser coils on with my cousin, with basic hand tools/ a jack and jackstands in our drive way.
I think you could do it
Also if its your money, tell them you want to do what you want with the money you earned. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.
Good luck

I put the lift on my dads 08 tacoma and I'm only 17...age doesn't really matter its your experience that matters, if you haven't worked on vehicles very long and don't think you have the skills to do it then pay the 375 thats a good deal especially if they allign it afterwards

Its really not that bad. Once you get in there you realize its not complicated, just time consuming (at first).
I can tell you the tools you will probibly need to do this lift.
- Grinder/cut off wheel to trim your a-arms for the bj spacers
- A good socket set + open ended wrenches
- Some clamps for the leafs
- Hammer and punch
- Lots of pb blaster or similar penetrent
- Blocks of wood (must be strong) or preferebly metal to jam under the bumpstop to keep your a-arm up.
Just a question, do you have new u-bolts and center pins for your add-a-leafs? If not, get them!
I can explain in further detail how to do these if you want. But like 904_runner said, there is writups online how to do these things.
P.s, once you add your bj spacers your alignment will be way out. You will likley have excess toe in and negitive (I think thats the one) camber. Make sure your tie-rods are not seized like mine were so you can at least get it in the ballpark so you can get to the shop. Or you can align it yourself
