I might stick with black out on yours. Personally i like white letter out but it depends on the color of wheels and truck.

In your case, black walls. Looks real classy.

 

The way I drive, I'd probably have the white letters scuffed off the right side in a matter of weeks from bonking into curbs.

One tire guy did have some good advice and it makes sense.......he said get rid of the longer valve stems that are currently on the truck since when you're out wheelin' it, if you bump into anything, you could possibley tear off the valve stems. Stick with the shorter ones.

Edit to add.........one would think that I could figure this out on my own. Man, common sense sometimes goes a long way. I wouldn't have picked up on this unless someone had told me. You guys probably already knew this, but just in case, there it is for what it is.

 

Wow that is the most perfect 1st gen 4runner i have ever seen. I teared up almost instantly. Black walls man, keep it beautiful.

 

On that truck I would go white letter It will make it look more sporty,but just my opinion

This is entirely up to you, i prefer all black...no white letters. It's a more rugged look. Your first gen looks great just the way it is.

 

White walls blacks walls.. just lose the running boards.

 

If you're sticking with stock size, go black wall... I do like white wall out on some trucks though

whites out and paint them to match the truck.
keep the boards, maybe paint the rustoleum hammered black.

Big picture here. I would like to take the running boards off of it, but, I don't want to take the chance of a stone coming up and hitting the paint.
