Just scouting out the autotrader and I came across this lad here that seems to be a little confused on what exactly he owns and what it's worth. Then again, maybe it's just me.

It is actually VERY popular. Back when our dollar was a little higher then yours many many many people were bringing cars, trucks and boats into canada from the us, selling them and pocketing a few thousand dollars. A friend of a friend of mine does this and does very well.

Wow really Jay? I suppose BC is creeping up in costs for everything a little faster than out east. Cost of living is crazy too eh? Well, maybe Johnny-$10,900-FIRM should drive his gem out west and sell it there. There's no way that's going to sell at that price with that many kms (I know the mileage isn't that much but look what else you can get for that $)in my neck of the woods. I couldn't stop laughing

yeh, Quebec explains it, but jay come on, you can have a boat drop off a turbo hilux in vancouver for $10k, if I lived there I WOULD OWN A DIESIL HILUX 100%, but an extra 3k to ship to ontario puts a damper on it.

But alas, that is the market around here currently. I saw 3rd gen trucks for sale for 13000+. It seems the market is going down now, alot of local trucks that are for sale are not selling.
The truck is worth only as much as somebody is willing to pay.

so I guess it's not all that uncommon to confuse Toyota pickups.
