Hello All I am new here. I am a new toyota owner, I recently bought a 1987 toyota 4x4 22r the engine ran but had a bad knock. Well I found a 1983 22r in good running condition and bought it to install. I changed some gaskets and such on it and removed my old engine. Well while installing the new engine I left the drivers side motor mount bracket off. I have 4 of the tranny bolts bolted in and now I cant seem to get the motor mount bracket bolted back on. The bolts have to go through the bracket and a bracket that holds some coolant hoses. It seems impossible to get the holes lined up. Has anyone ever put a motor mount bracket on while your engine was bolted to your tranny? I got so frustrated I just gave up.
