81 Trekker with chevy springs in the rear and bigger leafs in the front. sits pretty high, I got pulled over recently for bumper height and was looking to see some custom fabbed bumper ideas. 25 inches from the ground to the bumper is the law in MN so that's what I'm going for, i'm not looking for anything too crazy because i'm having a friend fab them up for me (i'm metal-ly retarded). anyone have some cool looking first gen trucks with custom bumpers that don't look really lame? thanks for any help!!

 

I am using a trail-gear 84-88 Winch plate as a base for mine, but have only got as far as welding it on...

Check out Badland Bumpers website they make a pretty cool variety of bumpers. You might be able to get some good ideas there.
