Just put a rebuilt 1985 22r in my 1984 4runner. I swapped all the 84 stuff to the 85 long block. When I started her up it appears to have an exhaust leak. Can't find it though. It sounds like it's coming from the exhaust manifold. I re-tightened the nuts on the manifold but did not help. The only thing I can think of is that the exhaust manifolds are different for the 84 head vs the 85 head? Can someone shed some light?
