What's the name fo this hose?????
#1
Sprung a pin-hole sized leak and the local auto parts place can't find it in their books. It's leaking anti-freeze/water. The hose appears to be wire reinforced and has an outlet that goes to a heater hose.
Any help on IDing this hose would be appreciated.
Picture for reference.

That's the hose that connects the water pump to the metal elbow. I'd probably call that the water pump outlet hose to the NAPA guy. But like abecedarian says, take the hose to the parts counter and match it. Doesn't matter what you call it as long as it matches the new one.

Hey Hypewx, (see it does'nt work, does it)
I could possibly Help You, with Your problem......
If You Could simply add an "r" to Your thread title, right next to "fo",...I would then, be more inclined, to do so.
If You need to Borrow an "r", I can also help You with that, just PM Me, and I will send it, in short order.
Thanks, Kiwi

When I replaced mine with my water pump, they just listed 2 lower hoses; pump to pipe, and pipe to rad... that would the the pump to pipe one... but yeah, just bring it with you up to the parts store.

Sorry for the unintentional gang-related dialog in the title. It was an error in my typing rest assured.
I took the hose off and took it in to find out they don't have anything resemling it. I guess I'm off to the service counter at the local Toyota dealer.
Thanks again gentlemen.

you must be getting the newbies at the parts store...
The guy I talked when I got mine knew exactly what I was talking about... but he's also an old school parts house guy that's ASE certified... it's why I go back to him every time. Try out an Advance Auto Parts first before the stealership; that's were I got mine from.
I have 3 of their part numbers for hoses (stuck in my repair manual in the little notes section) that I got when I did my H2O pump...

Tell the guy (or gal) at the counter that you want to see those three hoses; I'm not sure which one is which; they don't have descriptions on the stickers that I kept, and it's been so long since I messed with them; but tell them a former employee told you one of those are the ones you need. I worked there for 2 and a half years; I KNOW they have them...
