Rear Leaf Spring Question on 1984 2WD pickup EX Cab
Hello,
When looking at my rear leaf springs while the vehicle is parked on a flat ashphalt surface they appear to be flat. I am not certain what to look for in leaf springs.
Here is some back ground.
1984 Pickup 2WD Extra cab
299,600 kms on it
Rear shocks are blown,
Replaced front shocks with KYB GR2's and adjusted ride height back to factory specs with the torsion bars.
My Questions are:
1) How can I tell if my leaf springs are done
2) Would changing my blown shocks help the springs appearance?
3) Would it be wise to pick up pre owned leaf springs out of an auto wrecker?
4) If answer to #3 is no, where is a good place to get new leaf springs to regain the factory ride height.
I am not looking to spend alot of money on this truck.
Thanks in advance.
