Inner fender plastic lining thing
Well,
Apparently too much wheeling ripped the crap
. It is now hitting against my tire on my front passenger side. I can hear it and it looks like crap. I'm wondering why I even have it? Its factory, black, plastic, and it hard. It ripped it (broke...whatever) in half and it is still attached. I will get a pic up shortly. But what is the purpose of it? Is it supposed to protect something? And, do I even need it?
Thanks guys

Mine did the same thing...I put a few new screws in there with some washers and its fine. Personally I'd keep it - I like keeping water splashing off of my tires out of the engine bay....not to mention the rocks and mud.

I've been in that situation too and had to cut the lower 8 or so inches off to keep it from happening again. I re-attached mine using stainless steel self tapping screws and after I got it on I pulled each one out and filled the hole with silicone than re-installed the screw. IH8RUST though so you may not need to go that far.
