Motorvac & Fuel Filter

My 4Runner just hit the 260,000KM mark and I'm going to take it in for a fuel injection cleaning (Motorvac). The fuel filter is looking old. Should I change it right away with the Mvac or can I wait until my next oil change which is due in the next 2000KM's? I'm wondering if the old fuel filter will dirty the system after the Mvac.

Also a little off topic, but my steering creaks when I go hard left since it's missing that little rubber/plastic stopper. Where can I get that part?

The fuel filter should be changed with the Motorvac, but it doesn't need to be. Replacing it at all will help the fuel pump live longer, and reduce the chance of something getting through the filter (new media = better filtering w/less restriction).

The plastic stopper... you mean the steering stop on the knuckles, or the rubber boot that goes around the steering shaft that always squeaks? Either case, the dealer is the only place for both of those.

Stopper - Just slap some grease on them. I do mine every few months.
