Painted rear bumper, all blacked out now.

I painted my rear bumper today.

Cleaned, sanded, cleaned again, masked off, dupli color bed liner, and then semi gloss black rustoleum. How you guys think it looks?

Looks good...... The only thing I'd recommend is to paint the plastic trim on the bumper. Mine was faded to gray and when I painted it black I was really happy with the results. It will make your 4Runner's bumper blend so much better, especially since it's black. My .02..... Hope the lift works out for you!!

Interesting, I never thought about painting that. Mine is really faded as well, probably look good with some plastic paint on it.

I like to use Mothers Back to Black on my plastics and it makes that plastic piece on the bumper look good. Only problem is you have to keep up on it or it fades as do most plastic shines, but I have found it to be pretty good stuff.

thanks for sharing it up with us

is that the chrome fender lip trim already painted (black) by you? or some other fender trim? I am also trying to lose the chrome look on my ride...
