Smile Bulk up Suspension for 1uzfe Swap

Whats up guys. I have a '82 2wd Pickup and have been resaerching the 1uzfe swap to make this one hell of a sleeper. I'd like to know if I'd need to beef up the suspension to cope with the extra weight of the V8? And how would I go about doing this? 1st gen with IFS so I dont know if there is anything out there for something like this. I may be lowering it with the torsions shortly so maybe this will just do some lowering for me?

Thanks in advance.
Taylor

I was thinking about the beefier torsions but I didnt know they made them for 1st gen 2wd. And after what robsrunner said I dont think I'm going to worry about it.

As for tranny I'm looking at the W58 manual out of a non-turbo supra or the R154 manual out of the turbo supra. I would leave the stock rear end till I break it (that shouldnt take to long) then I dont know maybe Supra IRS? Definetly some kind of LSD.

Ya, If I do it im definitley gonna try to take it easy till I have another rear end. Hey, maybe a V6 rear off of a newer truck? I wonder what kinda hp those can take, and if the gear ratio is similar? The stock 1uz has about 250hp and 260tq.
