3.0 o2 sensor wiring

i've notice that my truck will loose power occasionally, it will run fine but just wont rev beyond 3000. when i took a look at the o2 sensor i noticed that the previous owner had been messing with the wiring. the black wire froim the sensor had been cut and replaced with one ran directly to the ecu. on the ecu there are 2 black wires, judging by the rest of this persons wiring job i doubt they figured out exacty what they where doing, and i have a feeling this is the cause of my problems. does anyone here know how the wiring should be? or at least have access to a wiring diagram? (the one in the haynes is for the 22re)

any input would be great
