I am wanting to install a rear cargo net in the back of the 4Runner similar to what dragr did - however it requires adding footman loops to the upper section of the roof. (as seen below in the pic) I asked dragr what he did and he said he simply drilled blindly into the metal behind the plastic. I'm a little unsure of doing that, so without me disassembling my interior can someone tell me what is behind the plastic/headliner in the corner of the rear cargo compartment. Is it a steel beam, are there any wires to worry about, etc.

i'm trying to remember when i took mine apart...... I believe the wires run below the window.
