Thumbs down High Pitch squeal from rear of truck

I resently was told by Toyota that the noise was from my 3rd member and it needed to replaced. I went and got a 2nd opinion and was told it doesn't need to be replaced. What are some things that could cause a high pitch noise from the rear. It isn't always there and I hear it above 30mph. I have a 98 Tacoma SR5 TRD.

Thanks for any help.

Yes, Toyota did it while locating the noise. I was thinking of changing the fluid with Amsoil severe gear 75w90
