86 Front Diff Q. Help!!

Hi, I have a 86 ifs pickup and I just installed a lockright in my front diff. I think i did a good job but now that it is in it has a little trouble spinning at a certin point. I can turn it by hand its just a little harder now than before i took it all apart. will it wear in? Did i F up the Bearing? Im super confused.

Well of course it will be harder to turn. You are turning two wheels now instead of one.

when two tires are pulling you will no doubt hav a hard time turning. did you research this before you installed it?

did you set the runout, back lash and bearing preload properly?
