22RE crank pulley

Does the pulley press on and off the harmonic balancer? I have a second harbonic balancer that isnt damaged but it has a 2 groove pully on it, and my motor has a 3 groove for the AC. I see botls on the front, jsut want to make sure it can be pressed off before i try.

The first two-row pulley slides on and off over the keyway on the crankshaft in front of the harmonic balancer....not onto it. The balancer is encircled by the main seal seated in the oil pump housing. Then, the a/c pulley bolts on to the two-row.

If you're trying to remove the two-row pulley, you may need a puller if it's frozen up. Then again, it may just slide right off with some gentle tapping.
