Yep, they are! I want metal bumbers like on the older versions, or maybe some kind of an aftermarket covers to go on top. I already cought 2 scratches on my front and rear bumpers. One from my neighbor's house and another one from my boat trailer swiping against the rear bumper while hitching.
Some aftermarket manufacturer will probably come up with something, I hope.

I saw some of you guys have very nice aftermarket lifted bumpers on the 3rd gen. runners, where did you get those???
