im having a hell of a time removing the right side of the dash that the inclinometer is mounted to. i have removed the screws on the bottom and the 10mm nut on the left side behind the cluster bezel, how does this panel come off i feel like if i pull any harder its going to break. do any of you guys know how to get this panel out.

I believe there were clips on the back closest to the windshield that were pretty tough to get out. Mine didn't have the inclinometer so there may be something there holding it in too.

There is one more nut towards the middle of the dash, and a bolt to the far right behind the air vent. You can reach the one in the middle by removing the glovebox and using a couple of 5 inch extensions. As for the one to the far right, you're gonna have fun. The easiest way to access the bolt would be to pop out the air vent and the bolt is right behind it, but its a pain to get the vent out

How I did it was I had to unbolt the lower part of the console, and then kind of flex it out of the way. I thought that it might break, but it didn't. I then had to reach in with a wrench and slowly turn it, since it would only turn about 1/4 of a turn before I had to reposition the wrench. A racheting wrench would have made life easier. Just be sure that you take off the right bolt, as there is one that is in the same place, and looks like it holds on the dash, but it holds on a bracket that holds on the windsheild defroster vents..... I think

What does it say in your service manual? I'm 100% sure the info you need is just a couple page turns away

There is a nut behind the gauge cluster, and on the right side of the dash you need to remove the glove box and the heater vent tube above the glove box and then you will be able to get to the nut under the dash, next you need to remove the right side dash vent to get to the bolt thats behind it, them the dash pad will come off.

There's a nut behind the vent near the A pillar.

Here is the link to a thread with several on-line FSMs courtesy of CyMon.
Not sure if the 1gen runner/2gen truck is available though.
