BFG Mud Terrain T/A KM2

What are opinions on this tire. Tread wear? Mud capabilities? Road Manners?

I think that they need a 15in rim. I hear good things about them just in all things off road!

I'm also wishing they had them in a 15" rim. A 37x14.5x15 would be awesome. Heck even a 37x12.5x15 would peak my interest.

People.

Calm Thyselves.

smaller 16's and 15's are coming out in sept 08. This year.

So far, reviews are good. However, there aren't that many.

I plan on buying a set either this winter or next spring.

This maketh me happy...

However, it does mean I gotta get out more often to thrash the ones I got so I'll be justified in getting new rubber...

Yea a 35x12.5x15 is probably as big as they will offer but I'd love to see a 36 or 37 too.

What?

Have you not been paying attention to the mags lately?

They are already out in 40" plus. You can go buy a 37 now

We are waiting for the smaller tires to come out.

No.

You did not specify a 15" rim.

You are correct that the largest in a 15 is going to be a 35.

Thats not a surprise, considering all new trucks are coming with 17's these days. That, and a 37 on a 17 is FAR better on road than a 37 on a 15, and its air down performance is improved as well. You can actually flex the tire.

DId you have to do anything special to fit the 315's? Backspacing? I know you have the SS 1.2 which I also have on my 2000 LTD. Looks like yours sits higher than mine? Did you go with the body lift?

So, vermejo, how do you like them?

How is the sidewall?

Does the tread hook up well in the rocks?

I'm getting stoked for these. In moab this past may, I was disappointed with my AT's, as even at low pressure, I was not gripping, but just sliding. Very frustrating when others with different treads were going up just fine.
