Anyone know the part # for the hanger that goes on the front sway bar for my 1997 4runner? And anyone know how bad it is driving around with this part broken?'

are you talking about the thing hanging in the picture? i have a '98 part sheet that lists that as a "bracket, bushing" and shows part #s as:
Right 48824-35120
Left 48829-35090

the actual stabilizer bushing is 48815-35100 and is the same for both L and R

on further inspection, the parts sheet states it is for '96-'02, that may or may not be the case and these part #s may have been updated since this publishing. hope this helps you out.

The part numbers given by PattyCakes77 are good up to November 2000. Starting December 2000 up to August 2008, the part numbers are as follows:

48829-35120 LH
48824-35150 RH

You're not going to need any parts. Just some luck and the right swear words! The end that snapped off is a stud mount and most likely it's gone but we can't tell from the pics. The other side is a bolt and you might be able to cut that on to get it out. Once you have the the bushing retainer off, just hammer the old stud all the way out if it's broken off. You can either use a bolt in it's place or tap the old stud hole to use a bolt or try to hold a nut behind it but that will be difficult because of space issues. You'll develop a few new swear words along the way.

Good luck!

Ya it looks like on one side the stud mount broke off. I could probably tap two new holes and get new bolts, but if its not that much I can order the part.

Anyone on here have any good places to try and see if they can order me a Lpart # -48829-35090?
