Best Riding Shocks For 3" OME Lift

I put on a 3" Toy-Tec OME coil lift about 3 months ago. I want to do shocks now. What are the best riding every day shock for this kit on a 97 4runner
4WD?

Bilsteins seem to be the most popular for trucks and 4runners. Thats what I'll be going with when I take out these skyjacker pieces of crap.

Ditto...I just ordered a complete set of OME shocks for my truck. Not that I have any OME things on the truck right now, but I'll be ordering the full Dakar leaf packs and the OME torsion bars soon. Figured may as well get the shocks that I can afford right now, and when the rest of the OME components are on, they'll all be perfectly matched.

I had a full OME lift on my 01 XJ last year, and you can't beat the ride and load quality of OME products when they're all matched together properly.

This is so true. You pretty much have to go with OME as they use a stiff spring and a soft shock that is valved just right. I tried to mix and match and ended up buying OME shocks to match.

Didn't your lift come with new shocks? Namely, OME shocks?

If they are shot within 3 months, I would definitely be pursuing warranty replacement, not looking to spend more hard-earned cash!

He probably bought the OME 3" lift through Toytec or Webfab that just replaces the coils with OME coils and uses a top plate spacer in front.

For a 97 4 Runner with OME coils heres the part numbers
Front shock OMEN91S
Rear shock firm OMEN86
Rear shock "comfort ride" OMEN86C
We stock all three, two year warranty from OME

I'm running the 91S's on the front of my Taco with the 882 springs. Beats the old ProComp stuff and spacers I had hands down. I'm replacing the rears with the 86C shocks shortly.

If you need pricing shoot us a PM with your zipcode.
