Ideas for blinker location.

I am trying to figure out where to put my blinkers at. Here's what I have to work with.

I want to see what options I have instead of just throwing some circle trailer lights on there.

just drill a new hole in the side marker above the existing bulb and plug in the new bulb. I think there was a wirte up for this on 4x4wire.

ditto on the parking lights if you want you could get some 1157 bulb holders and drill the stock hole out a littl bigger

x4 on the parking lights.
x2 on the 1157 idea, though I think you can get dual filament or LED lamps that are smaller.

Nice Ride. I would get a dual filament bulb and wire it in so that you can have both the corner lights and the blinkers in there.

I would say the same thing, I am at the same point as you, I don't have any where to put my turn signals, since I put a new front bumper on last night.

Good idea on the corner light spot

order Hilux corner housings. they have the indicators already built in as well as the marker lights. and they fit perfectly with a 4Runner, as long as you order the right year Hilux. good luck.

Just go to Autozone and get a socket for a dual filament bulb. Find the power wire from your old blinkers and park light socket and wire it up. It only uses one ground from the old park light socket. I had to modify my housing some with a dremel tool but it was simple. Just make sure you wire the brighter filament to the blinker wire. This mod took me all of 30 minutes.

Ya'all beat me too it. Corner lights w/dual filaments. Easy & stock looking (keeps Johnny Law away).
