sorry if its a n00b question

in all reality how much would it cost to put a chevy 350 with all the neseccary adaptors and add-ons into my 87 pickup? i plan on getting 35's with at least another 6 inches of lift so i could use a lil more power than my 4 banger.

Probably 1500+ bucks to do it right.

That depends on if you want it done right and with a driveline which will handle the extra power, or if you just want to shove a 350 in there for bragging rights.

A good 350 will have more power than the Toy driveline will handle. To make it reliable you will need to replace the whole driveline. (you may be able to use the toy tcase if you have the gear to gear one - based on the year you probably do have.)

What you may want to consider is a swap like the 3.4. Cost wise you'd spend about the same, but it's lighter and won't be nearly as hard on the drivetrain. Figure $4k

Depends on so many factors it's hard to give a good estimate.

I'd say $1000-10k depending on the deals you get, the parts you use, the parts you break, etc.
