'86 Toyota Ext Cab 4x4

theres an '86 toyota 4x4...ext cab...22RE 5spd...with about 25,000 miles on a COMPLETE rebuild...motor tranny and transfercase...completely rebuilt from top to bottom..he had a shop go through the ENTIRE truck..and fix EVERYTHING that was wrong with it..the old man is selling it for $2950..and it needs tires..so im thinkin about $2750..or somethin close to that...well...theres 2 other people coming to look at it soon...should i jump on this..havent gotten to test drive it yet...but the old man said it drives better than his '06 chevy...so im guessing it drives GREAT!...and the body is FLAWLESS it had a new paintjob at 160,000 (when the motor was rebuilt) and there is no dents...and VERY FEW scratches...its almost brand new...(thats what my dad said..he looked at it today)..this would be our DD..the guy pulls his ranger boat with it..so it should be fine...should i jump on this...we REALLY need a truck...thanks for the info!

Well a pic or 10 would help but as long as the frame is nice and clean (you can still see black paint) and the body/mechanical is perfect on it that is a steal of a deal. I bet you a dealership would still try to squeeze $5k or more out of it, probably more. I'd buy it.
