I was wondering if anyone has done a mod on the old cup holders to make it something else or even bothered with it??? Any ideas? I had thought about a coin holder or something but I didn't know if it was worth the time or energy!

 

What about fitting the 99 bezel which has switches were the cup holder was.

 

i left them in there. i have two in the center console and if i take a trip or have more occupants it's nice to know you have two more available, albeit crappy flimsy and obstructing cup holders.

 

Mine broke off, the bottom dangly piece. I decided to leave it in there because it can be used for other things, like hanging my GPS off of it.

Switching center bezels is VERY hard to do. Mainly all the switchery is different and lots of relocating and wiring has to be done.
