1988 Toyota 4x4 pickup!

LOCATION: SPRINGFIELD, IL

This truck has never let me down, I love it, but unfortunately the woman hates it, and it has no air so she won't ride in it when it gets hot out and its really annoying... New girl maybe? Or I sell the truck... HMMM lol

1988 4x4 5-speed manual 3.0 v6
Reg cab/long bed (2wd bed bc the old bed was crap)
185K miles on her
Just had timing assembly done at 160K
alternator is relatively new also, around the same time as the timing belt (~160k). waterpump at time of T-belt, as well as tensioner spring and tensioner pulley.
Brand new clutch master cyl and newer clutch
Has a hitch but needs wired
Newer Gray paint (truck was blue with red bed) - looks ok
31" tires in great shape with plenty of life left
four wheel drive works flawlessly
Truck runs fantastic and gets around 18mpg
Goes anywhere, would make a great trail truck, daily driver, or back up vehicle
She's got a little cab rust at the bottom and some down the seams of the bed but I've seen WAY worse.
Frame is nice and solid!

$2000 for a quick sale!
or
Trade up for a newish small truck with air (rangers/s10's preferred)

Email: Ebaird83@yahoo.com
or respond here and I'll do my best to get back to you!

She's sexy, but doens't cook or clean... Luckily she doens't live with me though so I don't worry about that.

I thought of Aftermarket AC but looks like a PITA, plus I do 90% interstate driving anyway, so a 2wd 4cyl truck will work fine for me.

Ask and you shall recieve...

THis is an 1988 toyota pickup in average shape, I've seen worse, I've seen better, nothing to get excited over, nothing to cringe at... I don't have any close ups of the rust along the bed seam but its not nearly all the way through, there's still metal there. What I was going to do is to sand it down, prime it and run a tape line dividing the top and bottom of the seam all the way down the truck and rhinoline the bottom section. Problem solved.

Interior: Note the crack at the top part of the dash, sorry its not cleaner when I took this pic. Yes the TOYOTA floormats come with it!

Motor shot: No I don't detail this truck, it runs great and thats what I care about, not how clean it looks under the hood.

Frame/undercarriage: This is the worst spot in my opinion that I could find so I'm showing it, its under where the cab and bed meet, yes it has some minor surface rust, but it is a solid frame.

NOTE: Things wrong with the truck are as follows: Horn doesnt work, rubber seal along driver window is loose, seat is kind of loose on passenger side (you'd never know until a passenger rides and it kinda goes forward and backward a few inches when you stop and accellerate), and the speedo makes a wierd noise when its really cold out. Other than that, it is what it is, and it runs and drives great, and I'd trust driving it anywhere.
