It's probably recommended to change all of them at the same time (plus less labor intensive ), but I didn't have the cash at the time. So now I have an 86 sr5 p/u that chokes, stalls and spews gobs of black smoke. Trouble codes are for the o2 senseor and the coolant temp sensor. O2 was recently replaced and the coolant sensor checked out ok. Hot days it smokes especially bad.

SO, Should I go for a balanced set of injectors? The new injector was bought at Checker-Schucks-Kragen (bad idea?). Anybody else have trouble with mismatched injectors? Or is my guess totally off with the injectors?
