Issue with rear seat windows...

The 2 rear seat windows in my 99 4runner ltd go up and down fine when using the drivers seat "master" controls. The problem is that both windows will only go down and will not return back up when using the back seat door controls.

I tried searching but was unable to come up with anything useful on this topic, so I thought I would post before tearing into the doors and wiring. It is possible that both switches are bad, but seems unlikely to me as I have found no other instances of this happening during any of my searches.

Any input, experiences or advice is appreciated..

I had the same issue with my previous 4Runner. Mine was the result of the kiddo's repeatedly playing with the switches. If I recall correctly, one window would go up, the other would go down (using thier switches) but they worked just fine using the drivers/master controls.

I guess worn out switches could make sense.

Anybody else have any ideas?

it sounds a lot to me like the switches are messed up
try removing the switch from the wiring harness and see if you can make the window go up and down by connecting the wires
