about 2 minutes after startup my 4runner starts to misfire causing bad jerking, even when idling. acceleration is rough and the code i pulled is cylinder 4 misfire. i've cleaned the MAF sensor, replaced spark plugs, and i'm wondering what my next step should be.

Next step is to replace the plug wires. Finally if that doesn't help, you'll need to look at the fuel injector and be sure you have proper compression in that cylinder (ie compression test).

 

I had same problem. mine was cyl 2 misfire- check out my thread. my problem was dirty fuel injectors.
