IFS axle tube torx bolts.....
Going to do the side gear shaft seal this weekend, as I've got a nice leak coming out of the driver side axle tube
Looking at the instructions( http://personal.utulsa.edu/~nathan-b...le/22repla.pdf ), in order to remove the side gear shaft/tube assy., I need to take out 4 torx bolts. Anyone happen to know what size the socket would be, or where to get one (my guess is probably Snap-On or something?). It'd be nice to have the stuff I need before ripping everything apart.
Thanks!

there is a bearing inside that axle shaft that you will have to press off if it needs replacing. might as well service the wheel bearings etc while you are at it, everything needs to come apart anyway.

Its easier to do if you have the torx socket, then its 4 bolts (two short and then two long arse bolts) then she slides right off. You do need to unbolt the ADD actuator if im not mistaken. I just finished swapping diffs and I had to tear down both of my diffs to swap parts. Make sure to put a little form in place gasket to make sure you don't get anymore leaks, even though there is an internal o-ring to prevent that.
